About the client
EnCore made a splash in aerospace as a forward-thinking startup. Their marketing relied heavily on their ability to be nimble as a startup in an industry dominated by slow-moving giants; and they succeeded. That success ultimately led them to become part of the Boeing family.
Known for creating hit shows centered on real people, Unger Media’s new website needed to create a sense of excitement for the vibrant new content already in the works. And while Jon’s resume included top network credits, he needed a brand built on its own merit, instead of the shows previously developed.
Most of all, Unger Media sees creating content as a way to change lives by creating human connection through storytelling. They needed a website as heart-focused as Jon’s passion — and underneath it all, a theme rooted in “kindness of heart”.

Brand development
Unger Media first came to us with a modern logo they loved and a thriving new business with new projects already in the works. We latched onto what is clearly going to be a vibrant future, and created a brand that could illustrate that excitement. The Unger Media brand reflects expertise in the industry and exudes excitement for the youthful programming in the works. The vibrant jewel tones we used throughout the brand are meant to catch attention and build a sense of mysterious anticipation. Our goal was to paint the feeling that “anything could happen when you follow your dreams.”
Telling a story
The website is not about Unger Media’s founder — the company needed a personality of its own. Instead, this brand message is about the content creators of the future with big dreams and passions. Unger Media is about to connect them with the world.
Image selection
We started with a blank canvas. With Unger Media’s new projects under wraps, and the owner’s previous projects intellectual property of other production companies, we had the opportunity to rely solely on our creativity. We sourced stock photos that featured silhouettes to create an overall feeling of “get ready for the authentically human stories you haven’t heard yet — tomorrow’s creators are out there.” It’s a message that appeals both to future collaborators as well as budding new talent.
